How To Economically Choose Your PPC Ad Position & Bid Price Using The Keyword Elite Software Tool

Keyword Elite is a very powerful software tool created by Brad Callen. It is used by thousands of marketers worldwide to help them with their pay per click advertising and their adsense publishing. Another thing that Keyword Elite does is allows you to actually choose your bid price and your ppc ad position.
Keyword Elite gives users the option to analyze pay per click listings.
Why You Want To Analyze
Before you get started doing any pay per click marketing campaign you should be aware of how much traffic you could expect to receive for how much money. Not being aware of this is going in blind. There are many professional Adwords marketers who make a lot of money with Adwords and have acquired all the knowledge they need to be really successful at it. You will come across these people when starting out. You wouldn’t jump into the deep end of a pool if you couldn’t swim. Remember that you don’t have to be number 1 in ad placement to be successful. Anywhere from positions 1 to 6 should do it provided you write a good ad. I’ll discuss more about writing effective pay per click ad copy in another article.
Run project 2 of Keyword Elite which is "Analyze pay per click listings". Under step 3 in that project select Google as at this point you are only concerned with Google Adwords.
Uncheck all the other options in step 4. Even though that information is actually very useful and helpful it's not necessary in order to get the information that we are after.
Under step 5 in project 2 check the Google Broad Match, Exact Mach and Phrase Match checkboxes. Then enter whatever bid price you want. Simply click okay and Keyword Elite will start its analysis of pay per click listings.
Then simply click on the "report view" tab and look at the Adwords information that's been uncovered. This will show you with the keyword and bid you have chosen what position you would likely be and a rough estimate of the number of clicks you could achieve per day. You will see that there are other columns "Adwords CPC phrase" and "Adwords CPC exact".
Broad means you simply bid on the keyword without quotes or brackets. Exact means you bid on the keyword in square brackets. Phrase means you bid on the keyword in quotes.
This is a great way of knowing first hand before you get started whether you are using a good keyword to start with and how to stay tightly within your budget. If you don’t have much money at first to invest in pay per marketing that isn’t a problem. You can set a daily budget of as little as $5.00-$10.00 a day and monitor the results in just 24-48 hours to see how effective it is.
